Littlewitch Romanesque won't launch. Error code: LWEP1.0-10108-258 80004001

When I try to play Littlewitch Romanesque it won't launch. It comes up with the following error code: LWEP1.0-10108-258 80004001

Solution

Locate the game's UserData folder (Users\$YOUR_USER\Saved Games\Littlewitch\Romanesque er\UserData).

Open the file Config.ini with a text editor.

Under "// Screen Config", set the values of ScreenMode and FullMode to 4.

ScreenMode = 4
FullMode = 4

Save the file.

Launch the Romanesque. It should now work and you will be able to configure the game correctly again.
