When trying to start up and play Steins;Gate, the game seems to load but then either crashes or comes to a blank black screen.
Solution
The opening menu and game sequence uses an older video format that some modern systems don't have pre-installed anymore. To get around this issue you can install a third-party media codec pack. We recommend
K-Lite Basic for this.
