If you can not find a specific guide to fix issues with your game, please try the following:
- Install DirectX9.0c from Microsoft to install the required display drivers.
- Install 3rd-party codecs to resolve video or audio playback issues.
- Try to run the game in Compatibility mode for Windows 7.
- Try disabling DPI scaling.
- If you have more than one monitor connected to you machine, try running the game with only one monitor enabled.
- Try running the game as Administrator
There are also some known issues 3rd party software. We've seen the following programs cause errors in programs:
- Nahimic (Audio Enhancement Software)
- DisplayFusion (Multi-Monitor Utility)
If you have the above software installed and enabled (or similar software), please try to disable them and run the game again.
